6,7,8 Save the Date!

We set the date for the party of the century - my FIRST birthday! And quite an auspicious date - 06.07.08! So it's 2 days after my real birthday but Saturdays are better days for partying. Or so I hear, because this will be my first party ever. Details to come ...

Scratch that!

You know how I just said I was all better? Well, scratch that - I woke up this morning at 5 am and my ears were hurting again. Mom and Dad stayed home from work and took me to the pediatrician. Turns out, my ear infection is better than it was but hasn't gone away. So I'm back on a NEW antibiotic (for those of you who are keeping track, that is FOUR different antibiotics I have been on since birth). BOO!

My newest trick

My Aunt Carly had the "fakey face" ... well I have the scrunchy face! I just started doing this the other day. It might have started because of the little cold I had but once people started laughing when I did it I decided to add it to my repertoire permanently. I even do it on cue (sometimes).

King of the playground

We had a super warm day the other day so Mom and Memere took me out to the playground to get some fresh air. Maybe some of you don't know but I just recently had my first trip to the ER the other week. I woke up in the middle of the night with a really bad ear infection but I'm all better now.

Our weather has been really nice recently. I heard tomorrow is going to be cold and wintry again, so we have to enjoy the sun while we can!

Why, hello there!

Mom and I were hanging out, enjoying the sun on the back deck today while Dad tried out his new leaf blower. I love crawling around outside, playing with the acorns that end up on the deck.

Oh, and did I mention that I'M CRAWLING!?! I started dragging myself around army-crawl style a few weeks ago but one day shy of my 8-month birthday I started really crawling. Try to stop me now!
